Driver dies after rear-ending tractor-trailer on Route 1 in Foxboro; crash under investigation.
A driver died after crashing into a tractor-trailer truck on Route 1 in Foxboro. The victim's SUV rear-ended the tractor-trailer, which was stopped on Route 1 North, waiting to make a left turn. The crash occurred just south of Gillette Stadium, and the driver was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, where they were pronounced dead. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
