FIRS apologizes for Easter message featuring PoS machine with "Jesus paid your debt, not your taxes" caption.

The message featured a Point of Sale (PoS) machine with the caption, "Jesus paid your debt, not your taxes." The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) condemned the message and demanded an apology, which FIRS later issued, stating that it did not intend to denigrate Jesus Christ or detract from His sacrifice.
