Tesla's brand reputation and consumer interest in the US have declined, according to a survey by market intelligence firm Caliber, with CEO Elon Musk's polarizing persona cited as a significant factor. Tesla's consideration score dropped to 31% in February, down from 70% in November 2021. Meanwhile, Caliber's scores for Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, which produce gas-powered and electric vehicles, inched up during the same period, reaching 44-47%.
