17-year-old pedestrian dies in Co Mayo car collision on N17 road. The teenager was hit by a car at Barnacarroll, near Claremorris, and pronounced dead at the scene. It is the second road fatality in Co Mayo within a week, following the death of Una Bowden and her two daughters, Ciara and Saoirse, in a collision on the same road. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and those with camera footage to come forward.
