44-year-old waste collection worker Gheorghe Negoita faces an animal cruelty charge in Dublin for allegedly endangering the life of a small black kitten on October 11, 2022. Negoita, who has yet to indicate a plea, appeared in Dublin District Court, where he was granted legal aid once he provides a statement of his means. The charge is under section 12 of the Animal, Health and Welfare Act.
