21-year-old Elijah James Belgarde and a juvenile were arrested after leading Grand Forks police on a high-speed chase. The pursuit began when police attempted to stop a vehicle traveling over 80 mph in a 35 zone. Belgarde faces charges including fleeing, reckless endangerment, false information, and driving under suspension while the juvenile was arrested on suspicion of refusing to halt and was transported to juvenile detention.
