Armed man arrested after SWAT standoff in Cherokee County home, fire breaks out during standoff. The incident began with a wellness check call when the man's father reported his son barricaded inside with a gun. The son fired rounds and set a gas canister on fire, causing the house to burn. SWAT members entered the burning home and rescued the 36-year-old suspect, along with two SWAT members who sustained minor injuries.
