Bruce Springsteen, legendary American musician, is the first international songwriter to be awarded the prestigious title of Fellow of The Ivors Academy, the UK's professional association of music creators. Springsteen, 74, who has won 20 Grammy Awards, an Oscar, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, will receive the award at The Ivors ceremony in London on May 23, joining esteemed songwriting legends like Sir Elton John, Kate Bush, and Sir Paul McCartney.
