A rare two-headed western rat snake named Tiger-Lily underwent surgery in Missouri to remove abnormal ovaries, as discovered by a team member who found traces of blood after the snake sneezed during feeding. The surgery took place before the snake's planned transfer from the Missouri Department of Conservation's Powder Valley Nature Center. The non-venomous snake is now in recovery.
