A man in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, has been booked for spreading rumors about militants on social media. Sameer Ahmad Paray of Kabikoot village posted a fake photo on Facebook, claiming a new person had joined militant ranks in the district. Police have registered a case under FIR no 23/2024 u/s 505(b)/IPC at the police station Rajpora, and warned the public against posting false content online.
