Former NFL player Malcolm Butler arrested for alleged drunk driving in North Providence, Rhode Island.

Former New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler, who played in Super Bowl XLIX, was arrested in North Providence, Rhode Island on March 16th for alleged drunk driving. Police reported a strong smell of alcohol on Butler's breath, slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. Butler allegedly refused to take a field sobriety test or a chemical test at the police station. He is scheduled to be arraigned on a charge of DUI of liquor BAC unknown, first offense on Thursday morning.
