Ørsted secures up to $100M in federal funding to construct a Power-to-X facility, called Star e-Methanol, in Texas. The project aims to decarbonize hard-to-electrify maritime sector, advance Ørsted's e-methanol facility, and create clean energy jobs. Selected by the DOE Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, Star e-Methanol is one of 33 projects across more than 20 states demonstrating commercial-scale decarbonization solutions for energy-intensive industries moving towards net-zero.
