Enforcement Directorate recovers Rs 50 lakh foreign currency from Vadodara-bound passenger in Gujarat.
Enforcement Directorate (ED) recovered foreign currency worth Rs 50 lakh (equivalent to USD 60,000) from a passenger flying to Vadodara, based on intelligence received about the passenger carrying foreign currency while flying from New Delhi to Vadodara. The passenger was intercepted at Vadodara Airport, Gujarat, and the currency was found in his hand luggage. Further investigation is ongoing.
