A recent poll found that a fictional Labour minister, Fiona Wilson MP, was more popular and known to the public than several real shadow cabinet ministers, with 47% of respondents recognizing her and 15% viewing her favorably. This highlights the struggle for both major parties to appeal to the public, as even a fake Tory minister, Henry Thorpe, received a negative favorability rating.
