In a speech at the News18 Rising Bharat Summit, PM Narendra Modi said that "new India" does not tolerate terrorism but teaches a lesson to those resorting to such violence, referring to the Balakot airstrikes in Pakistan in 2019. He highlighted India's economic growth, moving from the 10th to 5th largest economy, and a reduction in poverty, bringing 25 crore people out of it. PM Modi also spoke about using technology to catch the corrupt and increasing forex reserves to over $700 billion.
