Gujarat government introduces strict measures to combat ragging in educational institutions. Victims and witnesses who do not report ragging incidents will face suitable punishment, ranging from class suspension to expulsion and even a five-year ban from attending any educational institution. The new regulations are based on UGC and AICTE guidelines.
