Springfield City School District closes on Monday due to homicide investigation threats.

Springfield City School District is closing on Monday due to a potential threat from a homicide investigation. Police discovered possible threats to students during their investigation of a homicide on South Center Street. Out of caution, the district and Springfield-Clark Career Technical Center will be closed Monday. Additional schools, including Global Impact STEM Academy, have also closed in response.
