Derry police are searching for a man seen with a black handgun in Gartan Square after gunshots were reported. The suspect, aged late 30s to early 40s, was wearing a black-hooded jumper and last seen at around 10.10pm on Friday, March 15. Two loud bangs believed to be gunshots were heard nearby, but no injuries have been reported. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact them on 101, reference 1983 15/03/24.
