Starship launch - as it happened: Lift off for world’s biggest rocket in huge test for Mars-bound craft.

SpaceX's Starship rocket is set to launch for its third test flight on Thursday from Texas. The company aims to build on previous test flights by attempting ambitious objectives including successful ascent burns of both stages, opening and closing Starship's payload door, propellant transfer demonstration during the upper stage's coast phase, the first-ever re-light of a Raptor engine while in space, and a controlled reentry of Starship. This launch will feature a fully-stacked launch system, with the rocket targeting a new trajectory and splashing down in the Indian Ocean.
