Delhi's Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena has approved a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) or Free Trade Zone (FTZ) at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, spanning five acres. The initiative aims to boost the economy, stimulate growth in the logistics sector, create employment opportunities, and streamline processes for entrepreneurs. The move aligns with the Ministry of Civil Aviation's identification of Delhi as a pilot air cargo hub, working towards achieving Tier 3 infrastructure.
