40-year-old man entered Boston College High School during a lockdown, but posed no threat to students, faculty, or staff. Massachusetts State Police responded to reports of a man waving traffic down before discovering he had entered the school. The individual, from Brockton, was experiencing a mental health event and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. The lockdown was lifted after a brief period.
