US government may halt legal dispute, allowing RMS Titanic Inc. to use an uncrewed submersible for external imaging of the Titanic wreck site.

However, following a legal challenge by the US in August due to concerns over potentially disturbing artifacts and human remains, the company has now agreed to send an uncrewed submersible to capture external images of the ship only, without disturbing the wreck.
