Ghanaian Pension Funds and Fund Managers were urged to invest in the mining value chain to boost local mining profits. The Ghana Stock Exchange and Minerals Income Investment Fund held a workshop for fund managers to demystify mining as a long-term investment opportunity. The Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange highlighted the need for managers to build knowledge capital, network, and design suitable investment vehicles for the mining sector.
