CCP Games, developer of EVE Online, announces "Project Awakening," a blockchain-based survival game set in a decayed civilization. Scheduled for a May 21 playtest/hackathon, the game will feature programmable systems allowing players to build their own features. CCP will also make their Carbon Development Platform open source, providing free access to game engine framework and components for programmers and developers.
