Actress Neve Campbell confirms her return as Sidney Prescott in "Scream 7", reuniting with franchise writer Kevin Williamson who will be directing the upcoming sequel. Campbell previously announced her departure from the franchise in 2022, stating she felt undervalued due to gender inequity in the movie business. The seventh installment of the Scream franchise will see Campbell join franchise veterans Courteney Cox, Skeet Ulrich, and Hayden Panettiere.
