3-year-old Australian Shepherd named Viking from Solihull, Birmingham won Best in Show at the 2024 Crufts dog show, with over 24,000 dogs participating from around the world. Viking, co-owned by Melanie Raymond, John Shaw, and Kerry Kirtley, was previously the winner of the pastoral group at the show. This marked the second year in a row an Australian Shepherd won the Best in Show title at Crufts.
