Families awaiting Build-To-Order (BTO) flats in Singapore have expressed disappointment in the $300 rental voucher provided under the Parenthood Provisional Housing Scheme (PPHS). The voucher program, announced by National Development Minister Desmond Lee, will run from July 2024 to June 2025 and offset rent for eligible families waiting for their BTO units. However, some feel the voucher is inadequate to cover the high cost of renting on the open market.
