Thurston County deputies responded to two separate homicides on opposite sides of the county on Saturday morning. The first was near Cooper Point Road, while the second occurred near Old McKenna Road in Yelm. With limited resources, the Thurston County Sheriff's Office is working to bring in additional deputies to help handle 911 calls and ongoing investigations.
