NASA's James Webb Space Telescope reveals new details of star-forming region NGC 604 in the Triangulum galaxy. Two new images from Webb's NIRCam and MIRI showcase cavernous bubbles and stretched-out filaments of gas, providing a more detailed and complete view of star birth than ever before. Over 200 of the hottest, most massive types of stars, B-types and O-types, are found in NGC 604's dusty envelopes.
