Herbert Wigwe, co-founder of Nigeria's largest bank, Access Bank, was laid to rest following a week-long funeral ceremony in Lagos, after he tragically died in a helicopter crash in California alongside his wife and son. A prominent figure in Nigeria's banking industry, Wigwe co-founded Access Bank in 1989, which expanded across the continent and acquired banks in Kenya, South Africa, and Botswana.
