Qatar's Court of First Instance has issued a ruling in the Bin Durham building collapse case from March 22, 2023. The director of the maintenance company is sentenced to 5 years in prison, the consultant gets 3 years, and the building owner, 1 year (suspended). The owner's fine is QR 20,000, while the main accused company faces a QR 500,000 fine. Accused expatriates will be deported after serving their sentences.
