Former Senegal footballer Pape Thiaw, now Senegal's coach, recalls the 2002 World Cup as one of his most exceptional experiences. Playing in the co-hosted tournament in Korea and Japan, Thiaw and his teammates, including El Hadj Diouf and Aliou Cisse, reached the quarterfinals. Thiaw, who visited the FIFA Museum in Zurich, said representing Senegal in the World Cup was every child's dream and a dream come true.
