Australian livestock sailed from Perth to Israel via Africa due to Red Sea threat.

14,500 Australian livestock sailed from Fremantle port in Perth to Israel for a second time after their initial voyage was cut short due to Houthi militant threats in the Red Sea. The route now avoids the Red Sea and adds extra days to the journey, as the ship travels around Africa to reach Israel. The agriculture ministry approved the shipment, stating that the exporter intends to transport the livestock without passing through the Red Sea.
