Northern Ireland includes in UK's Tobacco and Vapes Bill, aiming to raise minimum age for purchase and tackle youth vaping.
Northern Ireland will be included in the UK's Tobacco and Vapes Bill, which aims to raise the minimum age for purchasing tobacco products to those born on or after January 1, 2009, and introduces further regulatory measures to tackle youth vaping. Health Minister Robin Swann emphasized his support for the UK government's plan to create a smoke-free generation and address youth vaping concerns raised by parents and school staff. If passed, the measures will create a future where Northern Ireland's young people are free from the dangers associated with tobacco and vaping.
