Asian Development Bank loans 2.4B pesos to iSON Tower for 800 shared telecom towers in the Philippines.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a 2.4 billion pesos ($42.85 million) loan with iSON Tower Limited Inc., a telecom towers construction and management company, to enhance digital connectivity in the Philippines. The loan will support the construction, development, and operation of 800 shared telecommunication towers to expand digital connectivity in underserved communities. The country's two major telecom service providers, Globe Telecom, Inc., and Smart Communications, Inc., have master lease agreements with iSON.
