Northern Colorado softball team split a doubleheader with Manhattan College in their home opener, with Manhattan winning the first game 7-2 and UNC winning the second game 8-0. Northern Colorado has two games against Iowa State and a game against Manhattan scheduled for the coming days. The team spent the first three weeks of the season playing in Arizona, Texas, and California.
