Dr Francis Bailey, a GP in Peterborough, has been jailed for 2 years and 2 months for having a sexual relationship with a vulnerable patient. The 63-year-old initiated the relationship after the young woman was discharged from a psychiatric unit. Bailey prescribed medication, including anti-depressants, to the patient and provided his personal phone number. The sexual relationship lasted five months.
