Man charged with first-degree murder for machete attack at McDonald's admits to killing teen coworker but seeks NCR defense. Solaimane Elbettah, 28, is accused of fatally attacking 19-year-old Joshua Burns at a Sundre, Alberta McDonald's on July 4, 2022. Elbettah's defense lawyer, Pawel Milczarek, plans to argue that his client was experiencing a psychotic break at the time of the murder and thus cannot be held responsible for his actions.
