A two-day public consultation meeting in Mogadishu concluded with a call for parliament to adopt a constitution reflecting the views and aspirations of the Somali people. Jointly organized by the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs and the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia's Political Unit, the event brought together over 200 civil society representatives to discuss proposed constitutional amendments and complement ongoing federal parliament debates.
