Calgary police constable arrested for second-degree murder.

A missing person investigation led to a murder arrest for a Calgary police constable. The investigation began when Const. Lesley Wallace was searching for a male reported missing by his family in Saskatoon, who may have had mental health issues. As she approached the Patterson Hill S.W. home with two other officers, they noticed a man wearing a ball cap, sunglasses, and a COVID mask. The man was later identified as Eddy Nakasenh-Bandasak, charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his roommate, Ismail Charanek, on September 22, 2020.
