Two tourists were bitten by wild dingoes on Queensland's K'gari (Fraser) Island within a week, raising the total number of dingo-related incidents to six in six weeks.

Two tourists have been bitten by wild dingoes in separate attacks on a popular Queensland island, K'gari (Fraser Island). An 18-year-old woman was mauled on her leg by a tagged dingo while walking to Lake Wabby, and a person was nipped by a dingo on a beachfront near Dilli Village. Both victims were part of tour groups. Ranger patrols in the affected areas will be increased, and efforts will be made to contact the tourists involved.
