New York City announces new curfew at 20 more migrant shelters.

Mayor Adams' office announced that New York City will implement a new 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew at 20 more migrant shelters beginning Monday. This curfew, which is intended to manage capacity more efficiently, will affect about 3,600 people and brings the number of shelters with curfews to 24. The measure follows a recent Times Square robbery and shooting involving a 15-year-old migrant, and the city has already instituted curfews at four relief centers.
