Swedish football icon and 1958 World Cup participant, Kurt Hamrin, has passed away at the age of 89. Best known for his time at Fiorentina, Hamrin was a key player in Sweden's 1958 World Cup final appearance and later joined AC Milan, where he won several titles, including the Serie A championship and two European Cups. Hamrin is remembered for his exciting play on the flank and his eye for goal, scoring 190 Serie A goals over 15 years in Italy. He later returned to Florence with his family before passing away in the Tuscan city where he made his second home.
