A Minneapolis man is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Highway 169 in Champlin. The incident occurred at about 11:15 p.m. on Friday night when a Kia Sorento, driven by a 36-year-old woman from Anoka, hit the 41-year-old man from Minneapolis who was lying in the lane. The man was taken to North Memorial Hospital, while the driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
