An Air New Zealand flight that was diverted to Guam due to an unidentified odor in the cabin has returned safely to New Zealand after a stopover. Passengers had to wait on the plane for five hours upon arrival and later flew out the following morning. Air New Zealand chief operational integrity and safety officer Captain David Morgan confirmed that engineers had completed a full service on the area of the aircraft where the odor was identified, noting that all checks came up clear.
