Ukrainian woman Kseniia Vasylenko, in Ireland for sanctuary, faces additional charges of driving without a license or insurance in a fatal accident; bail set at €400, next court appearance on February 26.

Ukrainian woman Kseniia Vasylenko, previously charged with dangerous driving causing the death of Andrii Nesterov at Cork Airport, now faces two additional charges of driving without a license or insurance. Vasylenko traveled to Ireland with her young son to seek sanctuary during the Ukrainian war and has been remanded on a €400 bail, set to appear before the Cork District Court again on February 26. Her defense solicitor, Frank Buttimer, states that Vasylenko has no criminal record and is willing to abide by any stringent bail conditions set by the court.
