Palm Beach International Airport experienced a temporary power outage due to airport-owned equipment, causing departing flight delays and a diverted incoming flight.

Palm Beach International Airport experienced a temporary power outage on Saturday afternoon, caused by equipment owned by the airport. The outage impacted all departures, with several flights delayed. While the airport relied on generator power during the outage, Florida Power & Light crews worked to restore power by 5 p.m. Baggage and ticket scanning systems were not operating during this time, and no injuries were reported. At least one incoming flight was diverted, possibly more, during the outage. Florida Power & Light is currently investigating the cause of the power outage.
