Leland Police are investigating a robbery that took place at a Circle K gas station on Ocean Highway East on Saturday morning. The suspect, a Black male wearing a hood and face covering, demanded cash from the register without brandishing a weapon. He made off with $100 and two packs of cigarettes before fleeing along Goodman Road. The suspect is thought to be local to the area. The Leland Police Department is appealing to the public for help in identifying the culprit and requests that anyone with pertinent information contacts Detective R. Britton or the main police line.
