Politician Lee Anderson admitted he should have voted for Rwanda's asylum legislation after previously abstaining.
Political journalist Lee Anderson has come under fire for first refusing to cast a ballot and then reversing his position on the Rwanda Bill, which would have sent refugees to that country in central Africa. Tory deputy chair Anderson had opposed the Prime Minister's bill, but he later said he ought to have supported it. Other politicians and members of the Tory party, as well as the politician herself, have mocked her.
