A 4-month-old baby girl was stolen along with a white Jeep in the 3000 block of M Street in Georgetown, Washington D.C. Fortunately, within an hour, the baby was found on the porch of a house in Southeast Washington and appeared to be in good health. The child was reunited with her mother. The circumstances under which the vehicle was taken are unclear, although it was initially reported that the vehicle had been left idling. It is not clear how the person who knocked on the door or left the child on the porch is connected to the incident. The stolen vehicle has notably missing its gas cap door.
